“I'm really trying to take advantage of all the opportunities at LJMU. Hopefully other organisations will see the opportunities that are available and invest within their own staff teams. We don't have to look externally for support, we can do these things for ourselves, enabling the L8 community to build capacity within the area. Rather than always looking outside, people are going to start coming to us for support, which is a big change.”
